Risk and Compliance Unit
Provides specialist risk and compliance support and advice to the University's organisational areas.
The Risk and Compliance Unit provides specialist risk and compliance support and advice to the University's organisational areas and assists in identifying, analysing and managing risks and compliance obligations in order for the University to make well informed decisions to meet its strategic objectives.
In addition to risk and compliance support and advice, the Risk and Compliance Unit also undertakes the following functions:
- Business Cases
For all business cases that are developed, the potential risks to the project need to be recorded in a project risk register and be risk assessed. The Risk And Compliance Manager is one of the validators of business cases.
- Insurance Waivers
The Risk and Compliance Unit provides advice to the Director, Corporate Finance in relation to granting insurance waivers. For all insurance waiver requests, please contact the Director, Corporate Finance.
In line with the Contracts Policy, the Risk And Compliance Manager provides advice in relation to proposed contracts.
- Gift register
The Risk and Compliance Unit is responsible for maintaining the University's Gift Register. Please refer to the Registering a Gift website for further information.
