Deakin University runs a number of programs, events and partnerships focused on helping all students to access university.

Schools partnerships

Deakin Engagement and Access Program (DEAP)

Deakin works with around 40 schools through the Deakin Access and Engagement Program (DEAP).The program aims to encourage achievement and aspirations towards higher education.

DEAP activities are facilitated in collaboration with primary and secondary schools, for students from Grade 3 to Year 12. Activities include mentoring, campus visits, study sessions and careers and pathways advice.
