Join the Alumni Community as Warrnambool comes alive with all the excitement of the Racing Carnival for a Q&A session with racing royalty Gai Waterhouse.
Event details
Deakin Alumnus Zeb Armstrong will interview Gai about her life at the track as she shares some inside knowledge about the keys to her success both on and off the racecourse.
The Q&A session will be accompanied by a cocktail style breakfast, so you can reconnect with other Deakin Alumni and Cloud Students.
You are welcome to bring one guest – please advise their name at the time of booking. RSVPs are essential by Friday 28 April or until booked out.
About Gai Waterhouse
After a 15-year apprenticeship with her father, the legendary TJ Smith, Gai Waterhouse was granted her licence to train thoroughbreds in January 1992, ultimately taking the reins as Randwick's leading trainer.
In just over a decade at the helm of her stable Tulloch Lodge, Gai Waterhouse has established a place among the nation's all-time leading trainers. She has captured 114 Group One winners, more than 300 coveted black type trophies, four NSW Premierships and Seven Sydney Trainer's Premierships.
