Geelong Alumni Networking Event - Faculty of Business and Law

This event is an opportunity to meet and network with Deakin alumni and staff from the Geelong region. Attendees will also hear from guest speaker Jake Munday.

This event is free to attend, however spaces are strictly limited. Registrations close Friday 10 November, unless booked out prior. Canapes and refreshments will be served.

Jake is the recipient of the inaugural Geelong Business Awards - Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Jake runs seven different companies. At age 23, he took a small dog lovers Facebook page and created a successful advertising vehicle, growing the page's followers to 2.5 million within 12 months.

After selling the page, he used the funds to develop and invest in a broader portfolio of business that he continues to operate today.
