Alumni Survey Competition

The promoter of this competition is Deakin University ABN 56 721 584 203 of 1 Gheringhap Street, Geelong VIC 3220.

1. Information on how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and entries must comply with these Terms and Conditions to be valid.

2. This competition is governed by the laws in force in the State of Victoria.

3. The competition is free to enter and is open to all Deakin University Alumni who complete the 2018 Deakin Alumni Employment Survey.

4. Staff employed by Deakin University Advancement portfolio are not eligible to enter the competition.

5. Deakin Alumni can only enter this competition once.

Competition period

6. The competition commences at 9am AEST on 30 May 2018 and closes at 5pm AEST on 15 June 2018.

7. There is one prize for this competition being a $2,000AUD Travel and Accommodation online voucher.

8. The total prize pool is valued up to $2000.00AUD.

9. One winner will be drawn randomly from those who complete the survey.

10. Alumni must complete the 2018 Deakin Alumni Employment Survey to be in the draw.

11. The winners’ name will be drawn at random on 18 June 2018 at the Deakin Alumni Office, Deakin University, Waurn Ponds Campus.

12. The winners will be notified by one or more of email, SMS and in writing. The names of the winners will be published online at http://www.deakin.edu.au/alumni within 15 days of the draw date. Winners will be emailed the prize.

13. If the winner does not respond to claim the prize within 21 days of the draw, a re-draw will be conducted within 28 days of the original draw date and the substituted winner will be notified as set out in paragraph 12.

14. Prizes are not transferable. Deakin University’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. Deakin accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.

Consent to promotion

15. Entrants consent to Deakin using their name, image or voice for promotional purposes on the Deakin Alumni webpages, dKin alumni enewsletter, Deakin Alumni Facebook page and Deakin Alumni LinkedIn page. Winners agree to make themselves available for a photograph and interview in the event and if requested by Deakin.

16. Deakin University is collecting your personal information on this form for the primary purpose of entering you into the 2018 Deakin Alumni Employment Survey Competition and updating your personal information in the Deakin Alumni Community portal.  Deakin will use this personal information to select the winner and contact you if you have won. You are not required to provide the information requested, however if the information is not provided, Deakin will not be able to register you for the draw or to update your personal details.
