Kids, win a GIANT bike and helmet thanks to Deakin
As part of Deakin's partnership with the 2019 Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, which includes title sponsorship of the Elite Women's Race, we are offering children aged between 6 and 16 the chance to win a brand new bike and helmet.
There are six bike and helmet packs up for grabs over the course of the race weekend.
It's easy to enter – just head on down to the Deakin University event marquee located in Steampacket Gardens, Geelong Waterfront, on either 1 or 2 February 2020.
Parental consent is required.

Terms and conditions Deakin University Competition – Terms and Conditions of Entry: Terms and Conditions of Entry: The promoter of this competition is Deakin University, ABN 56 721 584 203, 1 Gheringhap Street, Geelong 3220.
This competition is free to enter and open to all attendees between the ages of six and sixteen. Prizes will be awarded to parents of children under the age of 13 who enter the competition. Employees of Deakin University and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Entry is limited to one entry per person and must be lodged at the Deakin University event marquee located in Steampacket Gardens, Geelong Waterfront, on either 1 or 2 February 2020.
Incomplete or multiple entries will be invalid. Value of prizes is shown as a guide only and was correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility of any variation in the prize value. The prizes are as follows: 6 x 2020 GIANT bikes with a variety of sizes available, with a maximum total value of $3,480, and 6 x helmets with a variety of sizes available, with a maximum total value of $330.
3 x prize winners will be drawn at random on Saturday 1 February 2020 between 2pm and 2.30pm, and another 3 x prize winners will be drawn at random Sunday 2 February 2020 between 2.45pm and 3.15pm, at Deakin University event marquee located in Steampacket Gardens, Geelong Waterfront. The first 3 entries drawn on each day will win a GIANT bike and will also be awarded a helmet. The winners will be notified by phone on the day and the winners will be published on the Deakin University competition page, www.deakin.edu.au/bikecomp by Wednesday 5 February 2020.
Any unclaimed and uncollected prizes will be awarded in a further draw to be held on Friday 7 February 2020 at 10am at the offices of the Marketing Division at the Melbourne Burwood Campus. The redraw winners will be notified by email and/or phone and will be published on the Deakin University competition page, www.deakin.edu.au/bikecomp by Monday 25 February 2020.
The competition commences at 8am on Saturday 1 February 2020 and closes Sunday 2 February 2020 at 3pm. Personal information provided by entrants will be used by Deakin University to send entrants information about activities of Deakin University, administer the contest and notify winners. Entrants consent to Deakin University using their name, image or voice for promotional purposes. Entrants agree to make themselves available for photograph and interview in the event theirs is the winning entry and if requested by Deakin University.
Winners use the prizes at their own risk and Deakin University may not be held liable for any personal injury caused from use of this bike or helmet. Deakin University may not be held liable for any wear and tear or damage caused the bike or helmet once the prize has been claimed.
