Over 450 humanitarian workers have enrolled in Deakin University and Save the Children's innovative Humanitarian Leadership Programme.

Thank you to those alumni who gave to Deakin’s Humanitarian Leaders Scholarship Fund during our Open Minds Open Possibilities campaign. Your generosity has helped to fund 16 scholarships that will give humanitarians workers the skills they need to become great leaders.

Over 450 humanitarian workers from more than 70 countries have so far enrolled in Deakin University and Save the Children's innovative Humanitarian Leadership Programme, which is recognised globally as the best of its kind. This programme is also now being offered in French as an increasing number of humanitarian crises in French-speaking regions resulted in urgent requests to Deakin, from a broad range of humanitarian agencies and governments, to offer a francophone version.

The cost of undertaking this essential course is unfortunately still a considerable barrier for many humanitarian workers, particularly those from developing countries where the need is greatest. By giving today to Deakin’s Humanitarian Leaders Scholarship Fund, you can help us prepare the next generation of humanitarian leaders and positively impact countless lives.
