Biography
I joined Deakin University in January 2017 as a Professor of Data Analytics and Machine Learning. From January 1997 to December 2016 I worked at Northumbria University, UK, where I was a Professor of Mathematical Physics from 2004. I was a College Lecturer in Physics in Somerville and Worcester Colleges and a member of the Theoretical Physics Sub-Department at Oxford University for 6 years from 1991 to 1996, and Assistant Professor in Physics at Sofia University from 1988 to 1991. I am a Visiting professor at the National University of Mexico from 2015 and an Honorary Professor at Amity University. I was a Visiting Researcgh Fellow at the Department of Chemistry at University of Kent at Canterbury from 1988 to 1991.

I am a Professor of Data Analytics and Machine Learning at the School of Information Technology at Deakin University from January 2017. I was a Professor of Mathematical Physics at the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Electrical Engineering at Northumbria University at Newcastle upon Tyne from 2004 to 1996. Before that I was a reder in Applied Mathematics from 2001 to 2004 and Senior and Prinvipal Lecturer in Mathematics at Northumbria University from 1996 to 2001. I worked in Oxford University from 1991 to 1996 as a College Lecturer in Physics at Somerville College and a member of Theoretical Physics Sub-Department.
