Biography

Nauman Khalid has received his PhD in Agroinformatics from the University
of Tokyo. He worked as researcher in Alliance for Research on North Africa at University of Tsukuba and currently as Associate Professor at University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. He has expertises in field of food engineering and food chemistry.

His research focus on the following topics (1) development of emulsification technologies for delivery of bioactive substances, (2) valorization of waste bio resources for development of new products, (3) delineation of novel bacterial strains from food wastes and (4) development of new functional products from algal biomass.
