Biography

Nilupa is working at Deakin University since November 2015 and prior to this she worked as a Research Assistant at the School of Natural and Built Environments, University of South Australia where she also undertook her PhD studies. Her PhD research was associated with ‘Reconsidering sustainable building and design: A cultural change approach’ project, which was funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project scheme. Before starting her PhD, she worked as a lecturer at the Department of Building Economics, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Her research interests include waste management, circular economy, construction culture and conflict management.
