Biography
Dr Samuel Cheung is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting in Deakin Business School. Samuel received his PhD in Accounting from Monash University in 2017 and joined the department in 2016. He teaches financial accounting and strategic business reporting units at the postgraduate level. His research interests cover various issues of empirical financial accounting, such as corporate governance, managers performance, board communication, debt contracting, with a focus on board networks. He has published research in the Journal of Corporate Finance.
