Tony and his Deakin colleague Professor David Lowe are the General Editors for Routledge's new interdisciplinary book series entitled Remembering the Modern World. To commence the series, Tony and David recently co-authored Remembering the Cold War: Global Contest and National Stories (Routledge, 2013).
Tony's new research project focuses on the history and memory of sporting triumphs, tragedies, and rivalries. Key case studies include the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball and Liverpool FC and Manchester United in the English Premier League.
