Faculty Admission and Selection Rules

The Academic Board approved new Faculty Admission and Selection rules for 2011 (domestic) and 2012 (international) to take effect immediately.  

Revised operational policies and procedures

The Board approved the amendments to the following:

• Credit for Prior Learning procedure
• Admission to Higher Education Courses procedure, Schedule A:Minimum English Requirements for International Applications to Undergraduate Courses
• Academic Progress in Highter Education Courses procedure.

Presentations to the Board

The Board received presentations from the:

• Chief Financial Officer on the draft 2011 Budget and Capital Expenditure Plan
• University Solicitor on the changes between the Deakin University Act 1974 (Vic) and the DeakinUniversity Act 2009 (Vic).
