Building na

Seminar room fit out, final commissioning of services and building handover for occupation.
Building na complete.

An occupancy permit was granted by the building surveyor on Wednesday 28th November 2013.
All new areas were handed over and are now managed by Deakin University as of Monday 3rd December 2012.

Building nj

Building envelope completed. CFL area fit out and finishes started.

The current status of building nj is:
  • Structure complete
  • Roof cladding complete, including box gutters and siphonic drainage
  • Wall cladding underway, internal cladding to the Carbon Fibre Line hall complete
  • Rough in of services progressing, mechanical plant installed
  • Plaster sheeting commenced
  • Windows complete

The completion date for building nj is expected to be 22nd May 2013.

Building nk

Building envelope completed. CFL area fit out and finishes started

The current status of building nk is:
  • Structure complete
  • Roof cladding complete
  • External wall cladding commenced
  • Service rough in underway external storm water, sewer works progressing.

The completion date for building nk is expected to be 24th May 2013

Carbon fibre line

Manufacturing mid-point

The current status of the Carbon Fibre Line (CFL) is:
  • The oxidation ovens of the CFL have been completed and tested.
  • The build plan has been updated and submitted.
  • A project plan and status report has been submitted. There are no noted variations to the CFL construction schedule.
