Visitors is a limited edition collaborative artists' book of short fables by Gregory Day with drypoint etchings by Jiri Tibor Novak. It consists of twelve visual and written portraits of animal species introduced to the Australian continent after European colonisation. It will be on display until 28 June.
On display in the reading room and atrium display case are various objects owned and used by Alfred Deakin that have been donated to the University by the Deakin family. Accompanying this permanent display is a small, changing exhibition of books and other material which aim to illuminate Alfred Deakin's life, times and accomplishments. All these items have been drawn from the collections of the Alfred Deakin Prime Ministerial Library.
