There's A War On! World War Two at home

World War II was a time of change and uncertainty for the people of Australia. For some, it meant loss and hardship; for others, supporting the war effort led to love, lasting friendships and new experiences and opportunities.

There's a War On! features a collection of memorabilia, photographs and video footage that reflect the stories of everyday Australians living in extraordinary circumstances - and the many lessons that can be learnt from a generation transformed by war.

Don't miss your chance to see the first Victorian showing of There's a War On! , a travelling exhibition from Museums and Galleries NSW. On display at the Lascelles Exhibition Gallery, Alfred Deakin Prime Ministerial Library from Friday, 25 June until Friday, 20 August, 2010.
