Help a current student - participate in Deakin Career Weeks '09
The Careers and Employment team are pleased to announce a new initiative for 2009 - Deakin Career Weeks.
The Deakin University Careers and Employment Unit will be running a Career Week for each Faculty in 2009.
The aim of Career Weeks are to provide every Deakin student with comprehensive career information and resources about their intended industry. Each Career Week will have a tailored website for each Faculty, which will feature industry profiles, articles on recruitment, employment trends and careers within relevant industries, employer profiles, graduate profiles and information and resources for first year, middle years and final year students, as well as for postgraduate and international students.
'By having a week dedicated to each Faculty we can provide articles, employer and graduate profiles and events that are suited to students in each school, and at each year level,' said spokesperson and Deakin Career Weeks coordinator Lucinda Rodrigue.
The Careers and Employment Unit is also seeking Alumni to complete the below survey to share their industry experiences with current students to help develop their careers.

Faculty of Business and Law 23-27 March;
Faculty of Health, Medicine, Nursing and Behavioural Sciences 11-15 May;
Faculty of Science and Technology 27-31 July and
Faculty of Arts and Education 17-21 August
