On behalf of the Deakin Alumni Community I congratulate our newest Alumni members, who will graduate next week as part of our Trimester 3 graduations ceremonies to be held in Geelong.  I especially welcome into our Alumni ranks, the very first graduating class from Deakin’s School of Medicine.

Deakin Postgraduate Information Night - Burwood
Come to our Postgraduate Information Night and find out why Deakin is the right choice for your postgraduate study. Alumni in the news
Congratulations to Dr Srechko Kontelj OAM (1999), who recently won the Corporate Lawyer of the Year Award at the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA) In-house Lawyer Awards for 2011.

Dr Kontelj is a former Mayor of the City of Greater Geelong and was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2001 in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List. In 2003 he was awarded the Centenary Medal for services to Local Government. He has practiced Law for over 20 years and is currently Legal Director Asia/Pacific, for international optometry group Specsavers.
