Firstly congratulations to Deakin MBA graduate, The Hon. Dr Denis Napthine (1989) on being announced leader of the Victorian Parliamentary Liberal Party and Victoria’s new Premier. Dr Napthine is now the second Deakin alumnus to hold this position.

Kelly Gellatly (1995), who was recently appointed Director of the Ian Potter Museum of Art at the University of Melbourne.

Chris Willoughby (2009), who recently won the inaugural Centre for Quantum Technologies/New Scientist Quantum Shorts film competition with his entry Quantum Daughter. The short film was also named Scientific American's film of the week in February.
