Welcome to the November 2013 issue of The Deakin Times - your monthly Deakin Alumni Community eNews bulletin.

This month read about all the research happening at Deakin including:

Alumni in the news
Jura Reilly (1992), who recently released, A Wolf at the Door - a book that chronicles the survival feats of a Lithuanian great-aunt and her two daughters when exiled to Siberia in World War II. The book is available from Paton Books.

Joanne Macdermott (2000), has won a Victorian Finalist Award in the 2013 Australian Marketing Institute's Awards program with her business Next Marketing. This is the second year running Next Marketing has achieved this honour.

New Deakin Humanitarian Assistance postgraduate degree
