Deakin University
The Australian Association of Social Workers recently celebrated National Social Work Day in Geelong, Victoria.
Held on 7 May the event included a ‘mini 2020 summit’ over drinks and nibbles at the Carlton Hotel in Geelong.
The event was hosted jointly by Barwon Health and Deakin University and was well attended by social workers from a range of local human services agencies, including many Alumni of Deakin's Bachelor of Social Work program.
