Deakin University Alumni Community Awards
Deakin's Alumni Community Awards, recognise, acknowledge and promote prominent Alumni around the world who have achieved outstanding success in the following areas:

Service to their profession

Service to the community and/or
- Service to Deakin University
Award categories
There are two Alumni award categories:
Alumni of the Year Awards - for Alumni aged 30 years or over at the time of nomination and
Young Alumni of the Year Awards - for Alumni under 30 years of age at the time of nomination
Award nominations for 2013
Nominations for both categories of the 2013 Alumni Awards will be open from 1 December 2012 and will close 5pm (EST) 1 June 2013.
Alumni may self nominate or be nominated for an award. Applications will be accepted only when submitted on the prescribed Alumni Award Application Form. All nomination forms must be forwarded to the Central Alumni Office upon completion.

Awards presentation
Award recipients will be honoured at the annual Deakin Alumni Community Awards and Recognition Ceremony to be held 16 October 2013.
Up to six awards may be given in each category per year.
