Activate your account or login

Deakin has recently introduced a new alumni membership platform called the Deakin University Community Portal to enable you to better connect with the networks, ideas and opportunities that interest you most. 

We have transferred your existing alumni membership details across to the new portal however you do need to activate your account before updating your details. 

Please follow the steps below to access the many benefits of staying in touch with Deakin including global networking opportunities, communications, events, free webinars, professional development and postgraduate study incentives.

Please read these three options and follow the instructions that are relevant to you:

1: If you have already activated your account on the Deakin University Community Portal, simply follow the link below to login, using the password that you created and you can change your contact details and preferences.

2: If you have not activated your account in the Deakin University Community Portal, you may have received an email explaining the activation process.

If you still have that email, please follow the simple instructions provided to activate your account. Once you log-in you can update your details by clicking on the 'My Profile' button.

If you have not activated your account in the Deakin University Community Portal and you have not received an email explaining the activation process.

If you do not have the activation instructions in an email please create your account via https://engage.deakin.edu.au/
