Our facilities

Our school is housed in the architecturally significant old Woolstores, overlooking Geelong's Corio Bay.

Our A+B studio and workshop house the very best technology and help students work collectively. Our large gallery space provides the perfect space for displaying and exhibiting student work.

A+B studio

Open 24 hours, seven days a week, the A+B studio is a 1050 square metre space, 12.3 metres high and uninterrupted by posts, partitions or ceiling. The entire space is open and flexible to accommodate your creative projects.

A collective approach to study

Students work collaboratively in the studio, with all year levels using the space and students attending each other's presentations.

Construction management students take drawing classes here too and discuss designs with architecture students. The studio is also used as a teaching and research laboratory for measuring sustainable use of energy.

A+B workshop

Built in 2015, the A+B workshop encourages students, academics and researchers to experiment with technology, materials and processes.

Big enough for groups of 60 at a time, the workshop also has two full-time trade-qualified staff to offer help and supervision.

Use state-of-the-art electronic equipment

Here, you can create models in a hands-on environment using:

  • CN Router, Laser and 3D printers
  • Makerbots
  • a 5th-generation Makerbot
  • a Fortus 250.

You'll also have access to a full selection of hand tools, carpentry, battery and electric tools.

A+B gallery

Renovated in 2016, the A+B gallery is a modern open-plan space which has amazing views overlooking Geelong's Corio Bay.

The space provides students, staff and researchers the perfect area to exhibit their work and is also used for teaching and social gatherings.
