Parking guide
On-campus parking is very limited (particularly at the start of Trimester 1) and fees apply, so you are encouraged to seek alternatives such as public transport or cycling, or to carpool. For more information please visit www.deakin.edu.au/travelsmart or
www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au.

To park on campus, you will normally need a parking permit. Please note that buying a permit allows you to park in defined zones, but does not guarantee that a space will be available. Different permits apply in different areas. To avoid being fined, follow the signs. Day permits are available from permit vending machines in car parks and near campus entrances. These are valid in Blue and Red permit zones only. Visitors may also park in the $1-per-hour permit zones on level 1 of Car Park 6 and level 3 of Car Park 12. Parking is free in the Blue and Red permit zones after 4.30 pm weekdays and on weekends. For more information please visit www.deakin.edu.au/parking.
