2012 LOTE Method Bursary

Closing date extended - 31st January 2012

The Centre for Teaching Asian Languages and Cultures is offering bursaries of $2,080 to students who study LOTE Method (Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese or Korean language) in 2012 as part of one of the following education courses:
Master of Education (TLOTE)
Master of Teaching (LOTE Method) or Graduate Diploma of Teaching (LOTE Method)
Bachelor of Education (LOTE Method)
Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) (LOTE Method)

  • Bursaries will be awarded based on previous academic achievement, relevant work or volunteer experience and the candidate's potential to contribute to high quality LOTE teaching
  • Bursaries are to support expenses associated with a study program such as tuition fees, books, and living expenses.
  • Applicants must meet the entry requirements for their course and be enrolled for LOTE Method study in Trimester 1 2012. Bursaries may not be deferred.
  • Bursary applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for their course, and must follow the relevant course application and enrolment procedures.
  • Bursary applicants must be Australian citizens or Permanent Residents.
