Dua Suku, Satu Kata

Indonesian English Bilingual Student Newspaper

Dua Suku, Satu Kata is a bilingual Indonesian English newspaper showcasing student writing from Victoria and Indonesia, and hosted by www.inioke.com.

Secondary and tertiary students are invited to submit original articles, creative short stories and poems for publication. Pieces in English are encouraged as these are of interest to the Indonesian readers of Ini Oke.

What should you write about? Your life! Readers in Indonesia want to know about your experiences at school, sport, travel, hobbies and interests. Think about what you would ask a young person from Indonesia if you met them - they would ask you the same things!

Submission Information

Pieces should be between 100-300 words.

Pieces may be edited and must be submitted in an editable format (MS Word preferred).

Images (original drawings or photographs) are encouraged! But must be submitted with permission - the creator and/or the subject must agree to have the image published. Images must be submitted as separate image files (jpg only please).

CTALC reserves the right to refuse publication or edit material to meet its standards prior to publication.

Please submit the Contributor Form with your written piece to shannon.cheal@deakin.edu.au.
