  • migration and inter-cultural relations
  • international relations
  • Asia-Pacific regionalism
  • Asian culture and society
  • the politics and culture of the Middle East
  • issues surrounding governance, democracy and citizenship at a global, national and local level

Special Seminar - Racism in Europe: Humiliation and Homogenization
Wednesday 7 March - 12:00pm

Dr. Philomena Essed will present a seminar on entitlement racism and the idea that majority populations have the right to offend and to humiliate the ‘Other’. 

 

Lunchtime Seminar
Thursday 8 March - 12:00pm
