JICS Special Section 'Conversations on Belonging' by Dr Michele Lobo

The latest issue of the Journal of Intercultural Studies (34/4) is now available to view online.

The issue will feature a special section entitled ‘Conversations on Belonging’ guest edited by CCGs Michele Lobo. These four articles ‘refresh the conversation on belonging through ethnographic research that involves listening and inhabiting spaces of ethnicised and racialised bodies for whom belonging is never given, but must be claimed and contested daily - Latinos and Indians in the US, Anglo-Indians in Canada and Aboriginals and asylum seekers in Australia’.

The issue also features Nikos Papastergiadis’ interview with Christos Tsiolkas on the subjects of Hospitality, Multicultural and Cosmopolitanism.

The JICS team hopes you’ll enjoy this issue, and as always welcomes your participation; comments and submissions. For more information contact Associate Editor, Ms Paula Muraca
