Associate Research Fellow

Work at the Centre for Citizenship and Globalisation

The Centre for Citizenship and Globalization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to work on a two-year project exploring the growing sectarian divide in the Middle East and its implications for regional security. This project explores the relationship between the Shia-Sunni tensions in the region and inter-state rivalries between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

The Research Fellow will work under the supervision of the lead project researcher, Professor Shahram Akbarzadeh and will be responsible for literature review, fieldwork to the region and drafting of research briefs for publication.

This is a joint project with Georgetown University, funded by the Qatar National Research Fund.
