Melbourne Symphony Orchestra

'My internship was undertaken at the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, working in the marketing department, but more specifically, under their publicist Alison. The whole experience was amazing and I am so happy I was able to work with such a great organisation and mentor. Alison has taught me so much about working in the PR field and she made sure I was hands-on with everything that came across her desk while I was there. It was really great to gain experience in the workforce, as I was able to put what I have learnt at university into practice. I have also gained knowledge of public relations and publicity that I may have never learnt at university. I am still working at MSO part-time so I hope I can continue to broaden my PR knowledge as much as possible before I head out into the workforce full time.'
