Participants in this workshop will learn the principles of making a book or a solander box used for housing prints, photographs or documents. The book will be made from sheets of paper that are folded and hand sewn. Once this is completed participants will have an understanding of how a book is constructed and can then make something of their own choosing, i.e., a photograph album or a writing journal. Participants will be able to make both a book and a solander box if they so wish.
