Can't stay off the dance floor? Then this short course will allow you to
create a contemporary dance performance piece guided by well known performer
Melissa Dance. Gentle dance warm up and conditioning exercises will flow
into dance making. You will be involved in discussion of themes and group
participation exercises.
No experience necessary.

Melissa Dance
Melissa's projects this year have included mentoring two talented young
men for a contemporary dance piece for 'Next Wave' Melbourne Festival,
teaching workshops at Fun4Kids and teaching at Ballet Australasia Ltd
conference in Sydney. She is currently working with children's entertainer
Barry Peters on a performance piece as well as running her studio full
time. Melissa has also been involved in several recent community events
including '7 Sisters' which involved songwriting and movement workshops
and a performance at Tarerer, Hype!, Warrnambool Dancing Eistedford and
Warrnambool Theatre Company.
