This workshop will take participants through the basics of glass cutting, mosaic design, application and finishing techniques. Safety procedures, alternative application methods and indoor/outdoor considerations will also be covered. Participants will complete a mosaic panel and contribute to a group mosaic demonstrating alternative methods.

Marina Villani
Marina Villani has been a practicing glass artist for 10 years specializing in mosaics and fused
and slumped glass. Marina has completed several public and private commissions, exhibits
regularly in shows and galleries all around Victoria and is also a regular contributor of project
articles to the Australian Ceramics, Glassware and Pottery magazine. Marina is a registered
teacher with 32 years experience at both adult and secondary levels. Marina takes great pride
in ensuring that no-one leaves her workshops without experiencing success.
All other materiels supplied.
Participants must wear closed shoes and shirt to cover arms.
