Teach Next
Teach Next is an Australian Government initiative which provides an employment-based pathway into teaching for highly skilled professionals.
The program will help address ongoing teacher shortages in specialised subject areas and in hard to staff schools, particularly in regional areas.

Applications for Intake 2 are now closed.
Next Scheduled Teach Next Intake
Applications for the next intake of Teach Next are expected to open in May 2013. The initial intensive training residential for this intake will take place in November/December 2013, and participants will commence in schools February 2014.
More information about the next intake, including participating states and territories, will be made available on the Teach Next website in the coming months.
