Bachelor of Creative Arts - Drama
Students studying Drama as part of a Bachelor of Creative Arts receive a thorough grounding in fundamental performance and performance-making skills, but can combine their studies in this area with units in other Creative Arts and Arts areas, and in units which allow them to collaborate across Creative Arts disciplines such as Dance, Film and Television, Visual Arts and Multimedia.
Studies in the practice and theory of the art form are supported by developing skills in arts and project management, team-building and collaboration and written and oral reflective and analytical skills.
Bachelor of Arts – Major in Drama
The Bachelor of Arts is the most flexible of degrees, allowing students to choose a combination of subjects to suit their interest and career goals.
Drama can therefore be studied alongside the likes of International Relations, History, Literary Studies, Sociology, Psychology - as well as options from other Faculties.
Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary)/Bachelor of Arts– Major in Drama
The Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) degree introduces students to the knowledge and competencies required by secondary teachers as well as providing students with a broad understanding of the practice of educators.
Studies in Drama provides students with a depth of knowledge in this field of study within a Bachelor of Arts degree with the Faculty of Arts, and equips them to teach Drama in secondary schools.
