Beth Anderson
For my internship I worked at both Fairfax Community Network and the Salvation Army magazine, Warcry. My internship gave me valuable publication credits and experience. Helpful staff gave me some great advice for improving my journalistic skills. They also gave me a broad view of how the industry operates. The internship was also a good networking opportunity. I plan to stay in touch with the contacts I made during my placements.
