Why do I need a mentor?

Student Mentor Programs support new and continuing students with their social and academic transition during their first year at university. It provides a supportive environment where a pair of mentors can share their experiences with up to eight new students on a weekly basis.

Why should I become a mentor?

Mentoring a new student is a good way to gain valuable experience and improve communication, time management, organization, team work and leadership skills. Sharing your knowledge will give you a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.
