Manankurra
is on the eastern bank of the Wearyan river, and it is the end
point of the walk taken in 1988. It was in the past an important
meeting place for Yanyuwa, Garawa, Mara and Gudanji people because
of its rich resources, like these rare and beautiful cycad palms:
