Centres
The School is aligned with the Centre for Research in Educational Futures and Innovation (CREFI), which is one of Deakin's Strategic Research Centres. Research
programs include:
> Science, mathematics, environmental and health
education for sustainable communities;
> Pedagogy, cultures and professional
engagement; and,
> Governance, policy and educational leadership in local and
global contexts.
The School's Centre for Partnerships and Projects in Education (CPPE) manages and administers a range of contracted projects. It offers professional development programs, evaluations and research projects for government and other organisations.
The Commonwealth funded Centre for Teaching Asian Languages and Cultures (CTALC) works across the School of Education and the School of International and Political Studies to coordinate the delivery of teaching Languages Other Than English (LOTE) programs and language programs.
