Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Honours)

Deakin University, a leading provider of teacher education in Victoria, offers innovative degree programs in early childhood education. Our early childhood courses prepare students to meet the requirements of working in kindergartens and the early childhood education field.

The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Honours) course is a one-year full time, or part time equivalent, course where students undertake research and prepare a minor thesis on a topic related to the early childhood education field. Students work one-on-one with experienced supervisors to develop their proposal, undertake research and to write up their thesis.

The course is delivered in an off-campus mode, with occasional on campus attendance.
