2010 ACEL Tertiary Award

The School of Education held an award ceremony on 25 May 2010 to present the 2010 ACEL (Australian Council for Educational Leaders) Tertiary Award for academic excellence in the Master of Education (Educational Leadership & Administration) program to Emma Bolding. 

Deakin is one of six universities across the state with whom ACEL have a sponsorship partnership. ACEL is the major professional association for educational leaders and their views are sought and respected by government and policy makers.

The Sponsorship and Award Package comprises:
  • A professional, framed  ACEL Certificate of Recognition for Excellence in Educational Leadership
  • A Membership Subscription for one year to the value of $175
  • A Book Voucher valued at $100, redeemable from the ACEL Bookshop
  • Publicity and promotional information by ACEL and by Deakin University.

Vania Tiatto, Head of Junior School – Kardinia International College, presented  the prize.  Vania is a member of the ACEL Council, Victorian Branch.

Deakin University acknowledges the traditional land owners of present campus sites.
