Dr Lauri Grace has been selected to receive a 2010 Deakin University Award for Teaching Excellence.
Mr Alan Marshall has been selected to receive a 2010 Vice Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contribution to 'Equity and Access' for his work with preservice teachers in underserved communities in the Northern Territory, as well as the 2010 Vice Chancellor's Award for the Most Outstanding Contribution to Delivering Effective Partnerships.
Education Minister Bronwyn Pike presented 37 Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) Achievement Awards to Victorian students and teachers in recognition of outstanding achievement on 13 May 2010.
Ms Pike presented the VCAL awards at BMW Edge at Federation Square and said that dedicated and charitable students and teachers were among the winners.
The VCAL (Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning Achievement Awards also recognise the contribution and achievement of VCAL teachers and partner organisations that have contributed to the development of innovative VCAL programs.
Dr Damian Blake was awarded the 2009 VCAL Chairs Award in recognition of outstanding achievement from the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA)
