Current research projects Leicha's current research is in mathematical tasks to further teachers' and primary students' understanding of reasoning with the Deakin University Mathematics Reasoning Research Group (MaRRG).
Leicha is involved in a joint research project with the University of British Columbia, Canada, exploring pedagogical approaches which employ multimedia to enhance preservice teachers understanding of mathematical concepts, particularly algebraic thinking.
