Projects and Initiatives include: *Inclusive Education - linking Special Schools and organisations that support people with a disability to Deakin University in the development of preservice students education *Professional Experience - Working with students with a disability to enhance their teaching rounds experience *Offering professional development for schools aligned with Deakins BHPE *Supporting student transition through PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) This peer collaborative learning experience assists students to learn in a non-threatening environment. *Fostering indigenous connections in education - BHPE units integrate teaching in indigenous communities *Development of the 'Discovery Camp' a transition experience for first year Health and Physical Education students and 4th year mentors |
