| Research interests |
Lou’s current research draws on poststructuralist perspectives to critically analyse social and educational discourses on environmental ethics and to explore the processes by which students understand, negotiate and practice environmental ethics. An overarching focus of her research is the implications for pedagogical practice in social and environmental education, especially in relation to the importance of ‘place’ and the spatial dimensions of pedagogy. |
