The aims of this project can be summarised as focussing on the factors that encourage or discourage individual older adults to participate in online learning programs and activities made available through a community based learning centre in a rural town; the ways in which community based learning centres can encourage participation and service older adults as online learners; and the identification of new pedagogies developed by teachers as they deliver programs online to these adults.
The research will take a case study approach involving older adult learners, staff and management of a rural community based learning centre in Victoria.
