Application details

The manner of application is an involved and rigorous process, designed to ensure a continued high success rate of selected interns from Deakin University. Final selection is undertaken by the UCWIP Program Director, with no set quotas per University.

The application process includes:

• An initial information session;
• A tele-briefing with the UCWIP Program Director; and
• An application to the UCWIP Program Director, including a personal statement and (up to) four page-long Congressional office preferences.
