Deakin student in the news

As part of the Uni-Capitol Washington Internship Program, Deakin student Bridget Mangan interned for Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.).

"Even a normal day in Nadler's office provides a great learning opportunity" Bridget says. "I find Nadler incredibly interesting - his work on the Judiciary Committee and the subcommittee on the Constitution and civil rights".

Bridget relates some of her experiences, including a call from a White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, in 'Seeing Capitol Hill from Down Under', a feature article from 'The Hill'.
