Arts and Education celebrate success in the QS World University Rankings
We are very excited to announce our achievements in the QS World University Rankings for 2014.
First compiled in 2004, the QS World University Rankings currently considers over 2,000 institutions overall. The annual QS World University Rankings by Subject is a comprehensive guide to the world's top universities in a range of popular subject areas. Using data on reputation and research citations, the rankings highlight the 200 top universities in the world for 30 individual subjects.
Our Education program has continued to strive and has been ranked 23 in the world for 2014
(holding on to our position of 22 from the previous year).
Politics and International Studies at Deakin has maintained its ranking of 51-100 in the world.
Our Sociology program has achieved a ranking of 101-150 in the world.
History has been included in the rankings for the first time, sitting within the 151-200 bracket.
Communication and Media has also made it to the rankings for the very first time and has gained a position of 151-200 in the world.
